Ο Νίκος Ορδουλίδης είναι μουσικολόγος και μουσικός, Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων και διδάκτορας του Πανεπιστημίου του Leeds της Αγγλίας. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέρονται αφορούν τον συγκρητισμό στη μουσική, σε μια ευρεία γεωγραφική περιοχή: Ανατολική Ευρώπη, Βαλκάνια, Μεσόγειος, Μέση Ανατολή και Βόρειος Αφρική. Έχει δημοσιεύσει επιστημονικά κείμενα που αφορούν τις μουσικές ιδεολογίες, την ιστορική δισκογραφία, την πνευματική ιδιοκτησία, τις λαϊκές μουσικές στην εκπαίδευση, την εκκλησιαστική μουσική της Ανατολικής Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας. Είναι μέλος σε διεθνείς επιστημονικές φορείς και έχει συμμετάσχει ως εισηγητής σε επιστημονικά συνέδρια στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Είναι ενεργός συνθέτης, ενορχηστρωτής και πιανίστας με έξι δίσκους σε κυκλοφορία, και συναυλίες στην Ευρώπη και την Ασία.
