The Cultural Music Society ‘Vasilis Tsitsanis’ in co-operation with the Association of Friends of Music of Imathia County present a tribute, an itinerary of the discographical career of Vasilis Tsitsanis which started in 1936 and ended suddenly in 1984, along with the life of the popular composer, which include songs that marked and defined the route of the Greek urban popular song such as songs-hymns of love, sorrow, poverty, but also of hope and happiness. The event will take place at the Concert Room of the Municipal Conservatoire ‘Estia Mouson’ of Naoussa city, at 8.30 a.m., on Monday, April 2, 2012; tickets: 5€. Local wine will be served before the concert, a proffer of VAENI association. Kostas Tsitsanis, the son of the popular composer, will honor the event with his presence. Musicians: Triantafyllos Halkias: three-string bouzouki, Dimitris Sfingos: guitar – singing, Nikos Ordoulidis: arrangements – piano – singing.
